Hey! I'm Geoffrey Taghon: molecular pharmacologist, synthetic biologist, software developer. I've spent years using scientific tools and apps, and I kept asking: why hasn't this UX changed since 2005 (or, for CLIs, 1985)?
Our modern laptops can run AAA games at 60fps. Phones can render photorealistic graphics in real-time. Scientific software has slipped behind, but UX and power aren't a zero-sum game. This doesn't have to be the case. Your MacBook has more computing power than entire research clusters from a decade ago—we should use it.
So, I started Latent Spacecraft to build what I wanted to use: tools that are fast, beautiful, and run on the hardware you already own. No cluster access, no dependency hell, no API fees. Science should feel authentically magical—delivered with an AAA level of design, not buried in a supplemental PDF.
Questions about my tools? Ideas for collaboration? Hiring a wizard? I'd love to hear from you.
